Raw Almond Slivers

Almonds are the oldest and most widely grown of all of the world's nut crops. The dry leathery almond fruit surrounds the almond kernel which is harvested when the fruit dries and splits open. Mildly flavoured with a sweet aftertaste almonds are the favourite nut of many parrots and a good source of calcium.This is the nut for all sized birds.
