Unfortunately, bulk nut orders will not be included in the $100 free shipping and will incur a shipping cost.

Peanuts description:

This hard nut like seed is a member of the legume family as are soybeans peas and beans. Peanuts grow underground and are known by many other local names such as earthnuts ground nuts and pygmy nuts. Peanuts are very nutritious being high in fibre and protein yet free of cholesterol. Two or three peanuts grow in each shell.

Their soft chewable shell is ideal for birds of all sizes.

Special Note about Peanuts & Aflatoxins:
Aflatoxinsare toxic metabolites produced by certain fungi in/on foods and feeds that can be dangerous to humans and birds alike and are detected occasionally in milk cheese nuts almonds figs spices and a variety of other foods and feeds. The commodity with the highest risk ofaflatoxin in Australia is the peanut. For this reason the peanut industry is highly regulated with extensive testing done at several levels in the food chain. This makes the risk for consumers fairly minimal.

MyParrot Shop specifically provides peanuts ROASTED in shell. Roasting helps eliminate any residual moisture in the nut further reducing the chances of mould growth during your OWN storage of the product.
