Foraging Carousel

Product Description

This parrot toy is a great addition to your foraging system. Made of clear plastic this carousel can be turned around and around by a curious beak wanting to access the four different compartments, each with a slightly different way of opening. Fill up the compartments with pellets, fruit, treats or beads. The clearness allows your bird to see what he or she is after and provides great mental stimulation and way to forage for food.

My eclectus loves this toy even when there isn't any food in it she loves to spin it and sometimes even perch on it.

Update: Alexandrine's head was too large for her to get treats easily from it, she quickly became frustrated and attempted to break. however she did enjoy spinning the carousel and opening and closing the compartments.

Great for small to medium parrots, wouldn't go smaller than a conure though, unless very dedicated! My Conures love it and have it pretty well figured out, I fill it with their regular food and forage beads/pieces. It was very cute when they first figured it out, now need to find something else challenging to switch between them.
Testing on my Alexandrine, though at the moment she doesn't seem that excited about it. Will do some training and edit review to let you know whether she warms to it or remains indifferent (trying some more exciting snacks in it soon!)
