Foraging Push and Pull
The Push and Pull is a hanging foraging toy. Parrots must push and pull slats back and forth to release food into the bottom chamber. This toy is perfect for small seeds. It is important for companion parrots to spend time to build healthy foraging behaviours as it means less time available for peripheral displacement activities and/or other potentially harmful or undesirable behaviours such as feather picking, excessive screeching etc.
How to use:
- Fill top chamber with food
- Push or pull the little blue slats to allow seeds and other small tit bits to drop through the holes in each chamber.
- Food can be retrieved once it falls into the chamber.
Whole toy = 17cm
Stainless steel chain = 18cm
Chamber = 8cm
Slat = 11cm
Suitable for conures, caiques, pionus, greys, mini-macaws, senegals, quakers, amazons, cockatiels, etc.

My birds love working for their treats. It is a good starter foraging toy - it is empty by the end of the day...

My galahs love the treats I leave in them. I purchased one for each. I put treats in the morning and it is empty before lunchtime. First thing in the morning they push and pull it to see what they can get and remind me to fill it!!!
