What is PayPal?

PayPal is simply a way to get money from buyer to seller. As a customer it is completely free to use whether you create an account with them or not, and you can use it to make purchases worldwide quickly and painlessly. Sellers who provide PayPal on their websites have to undergo verification steps which give the customer extra protection against fraud, and the customer’s financial information stops with them.

Setting up an account with PayPal gives you more options for paying and also speeds up your next internet transaction, because you won’t have to re-enter all your details again, only a password. You will be asked the standard questions like address etc, and to choose a login and password. PayPal will send a confirmation number to your email address immediately. You enter the confirmation number and it’s all done!

PayPal is integrated into our website. At the end of the checkout process you are passed onto their secure network to enter in your credit card details or, if you have (or create during checkout) an account with them, transfer money from your bank account by direct debit. Once payment is made you are passed seamlessly back to our website. If you would like to learn more about PayPal go to www.paypal.com.au

I don’t want to accidentally make a purchase. What’s the point of no return?

The point of no return (ie when money changes hands) is a long way down the line of shopping cart check out screens, and is clearly stated as Review Your Payment. You can go as far as plugging in your address, seeing how much your package weighs, choosing your shipping method and finding out how much that shipping is going to cost, and still back out. So do not fear “accidentally” making a purchase. Even if you do, just send us an email or use our contact form and we will organise a reimbursement for you.

How is postage calculated?

Our postage calculator adds up the combined weight of the products you have ordered, and calculates postage costs during the checkout process. The postage options you have are dependent on what country you are from.

We need your postcode - the postage calculator will not work without one. New Zealander’s follow this link to see what yours is: New Zealand Post Code Finder

Please eliminate spaces from your postcode, or the postage calculation will fail. For example, if you were from London you might write "N13DH", but not "N1  3DH".

Please see here for more information on likely costs and other information about shipping: Postage Estimates

What are the different ways to pay?

You can pay via credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, cheque, or money order.

Please see our new Payment Options page for more details.

I don’t have broadband, I hate this site!

We’re so sorry if this is the case! We were very keen to provide lots of big pictures of our products so shopping online didn’t have to be such a guess-and-risk-it business for you. We’ve been as clever as we can be to reduce the page loading times but for those of you on dial-up, it may still be very wearisome!

However, all is not lost! Send us an email and we can post you either an electronic or print version of our catalogue, and you can order offline! More details here.

I’m sure that toy looked a little different last time?

Some of our toys go through transmogrifications as designs are refined after customer feedback or because certain toy parts have been discontinued. Please also note that the colours may vary from what you see in the pictures online. If you would like a particular colour combination please let us know (using the "order comments" section during checkout, or via email), and we'll customise the product accordingly.
