Order Payment Options
During checkout you will be prompted to choose between two options – "PayPal or "Bank Transfer, Cheque, or Credit Card over phone".
Use the table below to determine which option is best for you.
Credit Cards
You can use you credit card via our PayPal facility or over the telephone (contact details here). More information about PayPal here.
PayPal bill
If you order via email, phone or fax you can opt for us to send you a PayPal bill. An email will be sent to you with a link that will take you to an online bill which allows you to pay securely over the internet with your credit card. More information about PayPal here.
PayPal Balance
If you have your own PayPal account, you are able to use various extra facilities through them to pay for your purchase online. More information about PayPal here.
Bank Transfer
If you are an Australian customer, you can arrange to transfer money from your bank account (i.e. Direct Deposit) by selecting the "Bank Transfer or Cheque" option during our online checkout process. You can also use this payment method if you purchase by phone, fax or email (see the offline order form).
Note: Bank Transfers normally take 1-2 days to clear. We will get your order ready, and post it as soon as the payment has cleared.
Cheque
Australian customers can post a cheque made out to My Parrot Shop.
You can select to pay via this method during our online checkout process (select the "Bank Transfer or Cheque" option) or when purchasing by phone, fax or email (see the offline order form).
Please let us know when you have sent the cheque so we know to look for it.
Note: We will get your order ready, and post it once we receive the cheque and the funds have cleared (2 – 5 working days depending on the bank).
Aus Post Money Order
This is a safe alternative to sending cash in the mail, available to Australia customers.
Money orders can be purchased at any Australian Post Office for $4.00 and function just like a cheque. Please see info about cheques.
Upon arrival the money is processed instantly.
