This is a foraging toy for the whole flock, with the two stainless steel keys being easy to manipulate by a variety of beaks or feet. Your bird needs to turn both the keys and pull them outwards (key stays attached to the toy for safety and to prevent loss) to release the lid and reveal the parrot treasure inside. This is a good foraging toy for both small and big birds and can be set to a couple of levels by locking only one side or both sides.
Have a look at Precious with her Parrot Treasure:
All metal on this toy is nickel plated (except the keys which are stainless steel).
Be sure to hang this toy so birds sitting on a lower perch won't get hit in the head when the toy is undone!
This parrot toy comes with a large nickel plated quick link.
Foraging Toy Tip:
Being intelligent doesn't mean your parrot automatically knows what to do. Foraging toys are a learning process. Start off easy and give demonstrations!
Toy Bulk = 10 x 8cm.
Total Hanging length varies between 16 and 22cm depending whether it is open or not.

This foraging toy is a great idea but my Alexandrine finds it too hard, and ends up giving up.
He is a good forager in general, but even though I have undone one of the latches for him to make it easier he doesn't persist with it despite being shown. This probably says more about him than the product though!
