Starbird Toys!
As promised in our last newsletter, we have expanded our range of Starbird products with some awesome toys made out of natural materials. This month we're featuring two of our favourites...

Get a Grip

Get a Grip The StarBird Get a Grip™ provides a climbing and playing environment that most emulates a natural forest or jungle. Made of untreated abaca this climbing grid can be hung or draped and its configuration changed as often as you like.

Your birds can climb, play, go in and out of the spaces and create their own games with the grid providing secure footing, all the while exercising their body and mind.

With your imagination, the applications for fun and exercise with the Get a Grip™ are endless.
It makes for a fantastic alternative to a play stand, and is great for communal use. It’s durable, movable, washable and attractive.

We've hung our Get a Grip from the ceiling between our open-plan kitchen and living room area. Keiko loves flying around and landing on it, and we've hung some toys on it to make things more fun!

Get a Grip comes in three sizes as well as square & rectangular dimensions, so we can cater to all bird sizes :)

Chompin' ChunksChompin' Chunks are big and make great foot toys or beads for home made parrot toys.

StarBird Chompin' Chunks™ contain 18 non-toxic pine shapes in rainbow colors. Hide these chunks in your parrot’s toy box, a paper bag or baffle cage to discover. The Chompin' Chunks™ have a large centre hole so they can easily be held in the beak and carried about or threaded on to sturdy chain. They provide chewing satisfaction wherever your bird chooses.

For a foraging toy stuff the centre hole with shredding material, a carrot, greens, sticks or whatever your imagination dreams up.

Gifts - new category!
Bird of Man We have a new category called 'Gifts'. This category will contain parrot-related gifts for parrot-people :)

Our first product in this category is a music CD.

Half of the proceeds from each record sold go directly to Birds Australia's Orange-bellied Parrot recovery programme. This Australian species, with a total population of around 140 individuals, is one of the World's rarest species.
