A long lasting hexagon stainless steel foraging toy that will no doubt be considered one of your “essential” parrot products!

Paper, chunks of wood, pine cones, foliage, wiffle balls, star rings, nuts, fruit and vegetables, anything is ten times more exciting when you can't just grab it and drop it but have to slowly extract it or destroy it within the cage.

There's 1.8 cm of space between the bars perfect for wiggling bits and pieces through and the lid unscrews for regular topping up of goodies.

The Baffle Cage has two excellent applications:

1) Its a fantastic way to provide your parrot with its daily fruit and veg. Foraging is a natural and healthy behaviour that takes up a great deal of a wild bird’s day and replicating foraging situations within captivity so that our pets can express this healthy behaviour (rather than unhealthy behaviours like feather picking) is one of our greatest challenges. The baffle cage will often extend your parrot’s feeding time by hours BUT it doesn’t extend your preparation time significantly at all. Bonus!

2) It provides an excellent way to recycle old toys and toy parts. If you can no longer hang it up - put it in the baffle cage! Sometimes it also works well as a tempter for toys that didn’t pique your bird’s interest by itself. Put it in the baffle and suddenly it looks worthy of investigation. The toy can then be released.
